Why so affordable?
- ESL teaching doesn't pay much, so I keep the cost low. I also want membership to be affordable for teachers in developing countries.
- I only write topic-based B1-C2-level lessons for conversational English class. Grammar worksheets, exam prep, etc., are not a focus (such materials are already free on the site).
- There's only one employee and overhead costs are low.
What Teachers are Saying (from anonymous teacher feedback)
- "Great content! Sites like ESL brains do a good job but the lessons could be a bit random and not really intellectual enough."
- "I love your site. The conversation starters and role plays are outstanding."
- "I think you are doing a terrific job, and I want to thank you for making it available to teachers like me for such a small fee."
- "Thank you for making the topics relevant, insightful and controversial- it does help my students think and express their ideas."
