Level: Beginner
Focus: WH-Questions (Who/What/Why/Where/How)
Time: 15 Minutes
Number of students: Two minimum
Activity Download: asking-wh-questions-activity.docx
Activity Description:
In pairs, students read the answer to a question on their paper (e.g. "I'm from Brazil."). The other student then has to ask the question that matches this answer ("Where are you from"). Then the roles are reversed, and the other student reads his or her answer to the first student. This continues until all questions have been elicited. The questions do gradually get harder.
